Job Details:

Job Summary: Reporting directly to the CMPS President this role operates in a support capacity to the President. The incumbent will be responsible for all administrative duties directed by the President, including calendar management, expense reporting, travel arrangements, and billing-related activities (PR/PO creation). Additionally, this role will support both short- and long-term projects many of that will have monthly or annual repeat processes, including metric tracking, report creation, and project facilitation. This position requires a high degree of tact and discretion given regular communication and interface with Executive management. This position often works under limited supervision of the President with a high degree of independence and initiative expected. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and decision-making authority to achieve results.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the President in the prioritized actions and meetings to ensure activities are aligned with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Prepares analyses and presentations to directly support the President covering a wide range of subject matters including monthly and quarterly reporting (i.e., financial reports (SAP), program performance metrics (SAP, Tableau) and actions, EMC reports, etc.).
  • Supports the development of ad hoc briefings and presentations for use by senior management.
  • Supports the Executive staff in monthly Operations meetings, including setting and vetting the agenda, taking and distributing minutes, and following up with staff to coordinate key objectives and close-out action items.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of quarterly and strategy team meetings.
  • Ensures a high degree of accuracy and timely completion of all assignments.

Minimum Job Requirements:

High school diploma, or equivalent, plus six years of related experience, preferably at least 4 years in defense industry or similar experience in government/military. Bachelor's or master's degree in related field preferred. Must have excellent communication skills and advanced computer skills, including MS Office. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel are essential. Ability to learn and apply new technology to research, organize and analyze information. Good organizational and planning skills are important. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees in a professional environment. Ability to analyze and understand complex information. Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, and work under deadlines.

Additional Information

(California only***) Expected full-time salary range between $81,986 - $95,871 + benefits.
