C.N.A./Nursing Assistant
Job Description
*Effective May 26, 2024 this position will bea 12 hour shift for Tele 3200
Range reflects certification status.Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and according to established procedure, performs routine service duties and basic patient/resident care procedures necessary to provide comfort and safety of patients. In doing so, takes vital signs, assists patients with personal hygiene and feeds and ambulates patients/residents. Maintains patient/resident environment in a clean and orderly condition.
Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred; required if assigned to the TCU.
- Current CPR certification required (American Heart Association only)
- One year experience in acute hospital setting preferred.
- MAB certificate required within 6-months of hire.
