Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform machine setups quickly, accurately, and efficiently. • Collaborate with engineering and CAM programming teams to develop and improve CNC programs. • Design and fabricate fixtures for parts of varying complexity. • Advise supervisor and programming team on technical advancements to enhance production. • Operate CNC machines for production runs of parts. • Maintain quality standards by adhering to the Quality Management System. • Monitor and document operational and performance issues, providing feedback to the supervisor. • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and staff. • Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred. • 8+ years of CNC machine operation experience. • Proficiency in G & M code fluency and the ability to edit programs. • High-level blueprint reading skills. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. • Strong understanding of machine programming, setup, and operation. • Familiarity with precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
