CNC Machinist | $34+/hr | First Shift

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols and efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to excellence in machining. Duties • Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to fabricate parts according to specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications. • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions. • Maintain tooling and hand tools, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance. • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions. • Adhere to lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. • Participate in assembly processes as needed, including plastics injection molding and welding tasks. • Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the manufacturing environment. Experience • Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM programming, MasterCam, CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and GD&T practices is a plus, but not required • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes. • Experience performing complete CNC machine setups Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
