CNC Machinist (Aerospace)

Our work environment includes: • Growth opportunities • Casual work attire • On-the-job training • Flexible working hours • Safe work environment • Bonus eligibility Duties: - Assist in set up and operate CNC machines to produce high quality products for our customers. - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure parts conform to required specifications. - Follow instruction on set up sheets and program headers to ensure smooth operation of machines. - Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments with leads and QC. - Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, calipers and micrometers. - Perform daily maintenance/cleaning of machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance. - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience: - Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CNC mill operator in the aerospace field, medical field or defense field. - Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments. - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices. - Experience with HAAS, FANUC, OKUMA, MAZATROL control is a plus.
