CNC Machinist / Stone Fabricator

Position:Stone Fabricator Location:Carlstadt, NJ Job Type:Full-Time, On-Site Hours:Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, and off season every other Saturday 8am to 12:30pm, season every Saturday if needed Salary:$23 - $28 per hour, commensurate with experience AtMarmiro Stones, we don’t just sell natural stone – we build careers. What You’ll Do: • Cut, polish, and finish stone materials to specifications with precision and attention to detail • Inspect finished pieces to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met • Assist with loading and unloading materials, including raw slabs and fabricated materials • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment by handling materials with care, keeping work areas neat, and machines clean • Operate fabrication tools, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed) • Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed What We’re Looking For: • A self-starter with a positive, team-focused attitude • Experience operating a CNC machine • Proficiency with CAD software • Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.) • Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment as needed • Ability to work overtime as needed and every other Saturday • Willingness to learn and grow within the company • Dependability and strong work ethic • Ability to work in a busy environment with varying conditions, including the warehouse, yard, and fabrication shop • Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus Requirements: Experience: • Minimum2–3 years of experienceinstone fabrication, countertop production, hardscape materials, or a related manufacturing environment. • Experience withCNC stone machinery (e.g.,Waterjet, Sawjet, Breton, Park Industries, or similar)is highly preferred. • Familiarity withCAD/CAM design softwarefor layout and cutting (e.g., AutoCAD, AlphaCAM) a strong plus. Education: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Technical or vocational training in stone fabrication, machine operation, or manufacturing is preferred. Certifications (optional but preferred): • OSHA safety certification or forklift certification. • Stone Fabricators Alliance (SFA) or Natural Stone Institute training is a plus.
