CNC Mill Machinist

3-Axis Mill Machinist Reports To:Shop Foreman / Shift Lead (if night shift) Workdays:Monday through Friday FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly) Work Hours:Day shift hours 6:00am to 4:00pm -Night shift hours 3:30 pm to 1:30am Position SummaryGoff Davis Machine is looking for multiple night shift mill machinists who will be responsible for production, data entry, part manufacturing and inspection in our Aerospace manufacturing facility. Experience: 2-3 year experience preferred. Familiarity with Hurco Mill CNC machines. Job Duties: • Load and unload material on and off machines • Ensure tool performance management • Inspect finished parts Requirements: • Must be a U.S Citizen • 3-axis Mill Experience • Must know how to read a drawing • Must know how to use Measurement tools to check parts • Shop lay-out requires the ability to run 1 machine • Experience with feeds and speeds on hard metal • Must be willing to work overtime • Must be willing to work well with others • Mechanical aptitude and basic math/computer skills • Detail oriented • GED / High school diploma required • Ability to operate multiple machines Preferred Skill/Attributes • Ability to read and understand blueprints • Ability to use hand and or measurement tools Physical Demands: • Must be able to stand for long periods of time • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave • Referral program • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Schedule: • 10 hour shift • Day shift • Night shift Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: • Machining: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
