About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts, ensuring that production goals are achieved. Your proficiency in interpreting blueprints and making program adjustments will be critical to our success.Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, ensuring efficient production runs. • Interpret complex blueprints and geometric tolerances to meet precise specifications. • Make necessary program adjustments at the machine centers to optimize performance. • Inspect finished parts to guarantee they meet quality standards and specifications. • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing departments to resolve issues and improve processes. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.QualificationsRequired Skills • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a machine shop environment. • Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines unsupervised. • Strong understanding of geometric tolerance and blueprint reading. • Comfortable making program changes using Fanuc, Okuma, Haas, or similar controls. • Must have own tools.Preferred Skills • Knowledge of various types of metals, including castings and forgings. • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. • Understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems. • Experience with 6Sigma methodologies and principles.
