CNC OPERATOR - 2ND SHIFT

Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to project specifications. • Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job. • Input program instructions, including speed, feed, and cutting paths, into CNC machines. • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or deviations • Conduct regular inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. • Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand machining requirements. • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to address machining concerns and optimize processes. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper care and maintenance of all equipment. • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. • Any other action deemed reasonable or significant by management. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent. • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role is a plus. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. • Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine setup. • Familiarity with measuring and inspection tools. • Attention to detail and precision in machining operations. • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address issues during machine operation. • Commitment to routine machine maintenance and cleanliness. • Adherence to safety practices and guidelines. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new machining technologies and techniques.
