CNC Plasma Table Operator

Job Title:CNC Plasma Table Operator Shift:7:00am-3:30pm M-F Starting Pay Range:$20.00 to $24.00 Temp to Hire Description: Seeking CNC Plasma Operator to operate a CNC plasma cutting table in a small batch repetitive manufacturing environment. CNC Plasma Operator: • Set up CNC plasma cutting table equipment for production runs. • Utilize 2-Ton Jib crane to load 5'x10' steel plates ranging from 0.12" to 1.00" thick. • Ensure proper cutting program is loaded and initiated. • Monitor machine for any problems or errors while program is running and correct if necessary. • Inspect finished parts for proper dimensions.Minimum Qualifications: • 2+ Years of experience in the setup and operation of CNC Plasma cutting table, or CNC lasercutting table. • 3+ Years experience in a job shop or production shop environment. • Must have proficiency at reading drawings (blueprints). • Must be able to accurately read a tape measure. • Must Pass CNC Test • Capable of lifting at least 75 lbs., and able to stand for extended periods of time. • Submit to and pass a drug screening. • Submit to and pass a background check.Additional Skills • Experience operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes a plus. • Able to operate an overhead crane.
