CNC Set-Up Operator

What You’ll Do • Set up and operate CNC mills according to work orders and engineering drawings, with hands-on training provided. • Learn to set up and operate additional equipment, including grinders, lathes, and wire EDM machines, as training progresses. • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation. • Perform tooling setup, offsets, and basic program edits. • Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools. • Debur and clean parts to meet quality standards. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. • Work with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and optimize processes. Qualifications • CNC machining experience preferred; entry-level candidates with strong technical training (such as EVIT graduates) are welcome. • Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology is preferred but not required. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently while meeting quality and production standards. • Dedication to accuracy and minimal scrap.
