CNC Specialist

Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a CNC Specialist to work at our Magnesium Molding Facility in Eau Claire, WI. Phillips-Medisize is a leading global outsource provider of design and manufacturing services to the drug delivery, consumable diagnostics, medical device, and specialty commercial markets. We are seeking both entry level or experienced candidates for this role. We offer on the job training to help our team members develop capabilities!

Position Description: CNC Specialist working in our Production CNC department comprised of 7 CNC vertical mills machines focused on machining cast Magnesium parts.

Shift: 3rd Shift Mon- Fri (11:00pm-7:00am)

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Perform machine changeovers and startup checks for production machining workorders.
• Operate a CNC.
• Make adjustments to CNC program to maintain dimensional acceptance of parts.
• Correct worn or broken tooling as needed for the CNC department for your shift.
• Be the resource for the CNC operators on your shift relative to part quality and machine uptime/efficiency.
• Maintain CNC fixtures as needed to ensure safe efficient operation.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Coach CNC Operators toward quality and efficient operation.

Experience You Will Bring

• Experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment
• Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

What Will Put You Ahead

• Programming of the CNC equipment using CAD/CAM software
• Knowledge of part and component drawings
• CNC fixture design experience
• Solidworks knowledge/experience
• Experience machining of metal castings
