Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance is required for the position.

The Day-to-Day:

The Computer Network Operations Analyst/Programmer will bring a deep technical knowledge of how data is packaged and transmitted over networks, from the low-level details of how packets are formed and routed to the higher-level protocols that applications use to communicate. This position will join a team supporting CNO development .

Multiple Levels:

• Level 1: 05 years experience
• Level 2: 08 years experience
• Level 3: 10 years experience

Capability Requirements:

• In this role the CAP personnel will need experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineering.
• Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, and Python and; developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments or experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments.
• Able to setup and configure version control software (i.e. Subversion, CVS, etc.)
• Able to debug software and troubleshoot issues; experience developing programs to capture, analyze, and interpret network traffic
• Experience developing packet-level programs Expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols.
• Experience in network sockets programming
• UNIX kernel internals and/or low-level Windows internals
• Programming device drivers in Windows and/or UNIX
