CNS Global Business Center is seeking a strategic software sales leader to develop NOKIA's CNS Business Applications Analytics business at a global scale. The Analytics sales leader is responsible for driving new business growth of Analytics across various markets. This role requires high degree of collaboration with various internal stakeholders. This is a customer facing role with focus on hunting new business for Analytics.
What you will learn and contribute to
The position has the following key responsibilities:
- Develop global sales strategy for the assigned domain, assist the specialist sales teams in the market units to execute the same. Foster innovation in selling process that supports accelerated growth of Analytics solutions
- Achieve and exceed assigned orders and revenue target(s) for the Analytics domain.
- Build global campaigns for Analytics and assist the specialist sales team execute these campaigns to continuously generate and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities that supports the achievement of assigned financial target(s).
- Develop a positive relationship with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors to drive product adoption and become a trusted advisor. Gain a deep understanding of typical business challenges faced by our customers in Analytics
- Monitor key performance metrics for Analytics like new business growth across all markets, upsell/cross-sell lead identification, campaign effectiveness, reference-ability, adoption, and customer engagement
- Develop CxO relationships with key customers and maintain a cadence of executive engagements with customers and Nokia stakeholders.
- Build, nurture a virtual and vertically integrated community comprising specialist sales, pre-sales that will position BA Analytics solution value propositions clearly articulating business benefits and ROI. Ensure that the best practices are shared across all the markets to drive efficiencies at all levels.
- Partner with hyper-scalers and ISV's to extend go-to-market and sales efforts in the Analytics.
- Assist specialist sales teams in identifying, nurturing and closure of large deals. Track the progress of the top deals in Analytics and provide thought leadership and guidance for closure of these deals. Unblock any internal/external issues to close these deals. Identify risks to the deals on an ongoing basis and collaborate with internal teams to resolve concerns
- Strictly adhere to the published NOKIA SELL and CNS processes.
- Represent NOKIA in a professional and an ethical manner.
- Travel to attend customer meetings and related business activities (up to 3-4 days per week).
Your skills and experience
- 15-18 years of proven sales experience in a software technology company selling to communications industry service providers preferred; experience in selling Analytics solutions to CSPs and enterprises is a must.
- Understanding of communications software, with prior experience positioning and selling solutions.
- Ability to build trusted customer CxO relationships.
- Solid business acumen with an understanding of complex business matters and customer needs.
- Ability to understand the technical value proposition and then translate it into a business value position (i.e., consultative sales approach for selling solutions).
- Ability to bring cross-functional teams together in support of selling and revenue realization efforts.
- Demonstrate the ability to close large and complex deals >2M euros.
- Experience managing at least >50M euros of annual target (quota) with a documented track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Creative 'out of the box' thinker with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Exceptional work ethic, the ability to work independently, self-motivated, driven and a strong desire to succeed.
