Coating Advisor - Buenos Aires, Argentina

A Coating Advisor is an expert in the field advising customers (applicators and end-users) on proper use and application of our technologies and coating systems following current regulations. This role is actively involved in looking after, supporting and developing client relationships. Technical field support is provided to customers and our sales organization by identifying customers' challenges with coating processes as well as seeking opportunities to promote and sell Hempel technical services. Overall, a Coating Advisor is the ambassador for the Hempel brand and product lines and effectively communicates the features and benefits of all our products and solutions.

IMPORTANT: This position is temporary per 3 months to cover vacation (with possibility to extend if needed).

Please note, this position is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. To be considered for this role, you must reside in Buenos Aires, Argentina and are comfortable with travelling 80% of the time including trips abroad.

Work to ensure that all applications are following Hempel's Product Data Sheets, working specifications, relevant technical and industrial standards, working procedures, and the best painting and application practices. Additional responsibilities include:

• Record data based on the daily activity of your project in daily progress reports followed by submission of the Final Reports to the relevant stakeholders.
• Promote Hempel Coating Solutions with the benefits of Hempel Services and deliver value to our customers.
• Actively support internal and external services strategy activities.
• Activities include troubleshooting issues and finding resolutions.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• Good communication skills written and verbal
• Good Computer Skills
• Previous experience as a technical service representative would be valuable, as would knowledge of the coatings industry
• Willingness to travel regionally and abroad (up to 80% of the time)
• Customer focused, able to work remotely in the field with multi-functional team set-up
• MUST RESIDE IN BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE
