PAIR is looking for an Eyewear Coating Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for
overseeing a team working on one or more fundamental aspects of the coating process of glass
and optical components.


What You’ll Do:


● You will repair, troubleshoot, and test the chamber as required to keep it in good working
order.
● You will perform general maintenance on chambers.
● You will follow customer specifications and requirements as specified on the route sheet.
● You will consistently measure coatings correctly and in a timely manner.
● You will troubleshoot and resolve coating problems (shifting, patching, etc.)
● You will perform all test runs for new coating designs (uniformity, calibration, etc.)
● Identify nonconforming products and inform the manager.
● You will follow and understand new designs and procedures for new or different
coatings.
● You will keep documentation current and well organized.
● You will clean and foil machines as required.
● You will take initiative and unload parts from various chambers and place into QC
● You will keep work areas clean at all times. Around the machines, in the tunnel, and the
measuring equipment.
● You will set a good example for the trainees and ensure that all procedures are followed
-- no shortcuts.
● You will help organize all departments to work efficiently to get the work processed out
and to the customer.
● You are responsible for the care of the tooling and machines that are used for
operations.

● You are reliable, dependable, punctual and available for overtime requirements.
● You are a team player and willing to help in any other areas/departments
● You have good oral and written communication skills
● You have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including route sheets.
● You have the ability to read and understand blueprints.
● You are able to work independently or on a team


Need to Have:


● High school diploma or equivalent
● 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
● Ability to coat various types of coatings and is proficiently in different chambers.
● Ability to measure various coatings correctly.
● Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
● Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of pressure
