Who we are looking for:
Kootenai Health is supporting the recruitment of a board certified/board eligible full time Pulmonary/Critical Care Specialist to join Kootenai Clinic Lung and Asthma a thirteen-member practice in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. With the support from six Advanced Practice Providers the practice manages the 26-bed ICU, a local LTACH facility and an inpatient pulmonary consult service. The outpatient pulmonary office supports a wide range of practice experiences with on-site PFT equipment, advanced bronchoscopy equipment and opportunities for additional practice expansion to the surrounding communities. An additional physician is desired to serve a consistently growing service area, increasing patient volumes as well the future retirement of a 30 plus year physician in the community. What you can expect:
  • 26-bed ICU with a broad range of care opportunities including cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, trauma and general medical ICU patients
  • Kootenai Health is the regional referral center for the critical access hospitals in the surrounding 10 northern counties of Idaho
  • 24/7 Hospitalist support for all non-ICU admissions
  • Full-service outpatient pulmonary clinic located across the street from the hospital
  • On site pulmonary function testing laboratory
  • On site x-ray, CT and MRI imaging center
  • Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative role
  • Inpatient Pulmonary consultation experiences
  • Full bronchoscopy services including EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy
  • Broad range of pulmonary and critical care diagnoses
  • Kootenai Health is the regional referral center the surrounding 10 northern counties of Idaho and is located in one of the fastest growing counties in the country
