What You’ll Do
The Collection Specialist will report to the Senior Manager of Credit and Collections and assist in all aspects of the Accounts Receivable collections process.
What you’ll be working on:
- Assist in the Accounts Receivable process from billing to collection
- Monitor the firm’s accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts
- Lead collection efforts including follow-up of past due accounts and coordination with collection agencies
- Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers as well as records of any payments collected from licensees
- Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
- Assist with month end and quarterly tasks
- Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress
- Knowledge of Letters of Credit process and terms preferred, but not required. Assist in the monitoring of letter of credit compliance of licensees
- Knowledge of Foreign Withholding Tax preferred, but not required. Assist in monitoring and obtaining withholding tax certificates from licensees
- Assist in the preparation of information required by external auditors and consultants
- Work on ad hoc financial projects

Must Haves:
- Graduate of any bachelor degree, business degree preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of billing and collection processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Experience using NetSuite preferred, but not required
- Ability to understand accounting transactions and prepare supporting accounting analysis and accounting, as needed
- Must possess the following traits:

- Ability to prepare reports in an accurate and concise manner
Primary Location Salary Range:
$80,000 - $90,000
