Job Description

As a College Intern - Incident Response Team with Frost, you will gain experience with a corporation that provides a full range of commercial and consumer banking products, investment and brokerage services, insurance products and investment banking services. Responsibilities will include investigation of suspicious events, participation in cyber and information incidents, assisting in creation and tuning of alerts, some project participation, and creating procedural documentation. The candidate will also assist with proactive threat hunting, coordination of penetration testing, and creation of management reporting.

Frost operates more than 100 financial centers across Texas in the Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio regions. Frost is the largest Texas-based banking organization that operates only in Texas, with a legacy of helping clients with their financial needs across three centuries.

Required:

• Must be a Junior or Senior level student enrolled in one of the following four year degree programs: Information Assurance/Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Network/Software Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum 3.0 G.P.A.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
• Strong organizational skills
• Time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience with offensive (red team) or defensive (blue team) cyber security activities in a real-world or lab environment
• Coding/scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Java, or other languages.
• Foundational knowledge of operating systems and network protocols
