SUMMARY

The College Recruiting Specialist is a key member of the US Human Resource team, performing as a Programmatic Lead driving our early career and intern/co-op programs. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships on campus and conducting research to ensure target universities are in line with the college recruiting strategy and company long term goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

Utilize established university recruitment programs, and also have opportunity to create enhanced processes and improvements across Lincoln Electric's early talent development, internship, and co-op programs. Functions supported include engineering, finance, IT and sales. Responsibilities include:

  • Leverage existing relationships with universities, professional and diverse organizations, and alumni networks to execute business strategies
  • Actively engage with executive and senior leaders internally to continuously improve early talent programs
  • Develop and cultivate external relationships with college career centers and faculty
  • Utilize your own experience to innovate candidate outreach plans, while executing a tiered school approach
  • Research of and participation in relevant community outreach events, job fairs, and social networking activities
  • Play a key role in executing the diversity recruiting strategy for early career recruitment
  • Manage OFCCP data management requirements
  • Project yearly recruitment expenditures for budgetary consideration & control
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge and experience with recruiting Engineering, Accounting/Finance and/or Technical talent
  • 2+ years experience in college recruiting
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
  • Ability to travel 30% or more during peak campus recruiting timelines
  • Ability to build and maintain superior relationships with internal and external clients at all levels
  • Project management, written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or Communications preferred
  • Experience in a global manufacturing environment preferred
