The Collibra Engineer will design, develop, and implement technical integration and automation solutions in Collibra. This is primarily a technical role, but engagement with business stakeholders is necessary to capture requirements, validate proposed design, and test end-state functionality, working with the broader Collibra team implementing or extending Collibra. First San Francisco Partners is seeking both employees and contractors. This role will be responsible for assessing data management environments and governance capabilities to make data actionable for the business and to turn information into value at a compensation of $95,000 - $121,000.  First San Francisco Partners is currently seeking 1099 contractors for this position.
 What You'll be Doing: Â
- Confirms Collibra is configured to meet ingestion or integration requirementsÂ
- Details integration options and best practicesÂ
- Serves as liaison between Business and ITÂ Â
- Implements metadata, lineage, ETL, data quality, workflow, modeling and visualization integrationsÂ
- Works with other IT teams to build and maintain interfaces between catalog and other technologies Â
- Remediates integration or performance issuesÂ
- Provides best practices for harvesting and loading metadata, including identification of what should and should not be loadedÂ
- Designs, develops, implements and tests custom workflows, including associated source or target technology integrationsÂ
- Provides knowledge transfer of all implemented functionality, including development of supporting system documentation Â
 What You Should Have:Â
- Strong background in IT with a passion for data modeling and design Â
- 3+ years of data management consulting, including metadata management and Collibra (or similar cataloging technologies) implementation and integration Â
- Bachelor’s Degree with strong data understanding through experience. Â
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Â
- Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills. Â
- Ability to analyze complex environments, distill concepts and present to clients. Â
- Knowledge of customizing workflows. Â
- Must be able to participate in calls and video meetings during the client’s business hours; video background must be business appropriate. Â
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Â
This range is based on our market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity and candidate qualifications, such as skills, experience and education.Â
