The Operations Enablement teams' mission is to enhance the quality, efficiency, and innovation of CSOC teams by developing and standardizing technology, process, and communications. The Engineer 3 role will be passionate about operational excellence through efforts to transform the CSOC into an industry leader in cybersecurity operations. This role will design processes and their review, provide oversight programs spanning security incidents, vulnerability management, and several other departments. This role is critical in creating a collaborative culture of innovation and paving the way for the CSOC to become a center of excellence.

Certifications:
Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as Security+, CySA, CASP, CISSP, or similar, preferred but not required

Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Be a key driver of continuous improvement efforts across all CSOC processes and workflows.
- Play a pivotal role in the creation of metrics and reporting programs to measure and track capability maturity for the security incident response team.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of playbooks for use across CSOC.
- Participate in establishing the CSOC brand and capabilities across Comcast.
- Use business analysis skills to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Deploy operational enhancements to multiple teams.
- Provide reporting and updates on in-flight programs.
Preferred Skills/Experience:

- Have 3+ years of experience in security operations, security engineering, or similar role
- Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of work streams simultaneously, and under deadline
- Have a high level of personal integrity and very good professional judgement
- Be accustomed to handling confidential matters with appropriate sensitivity
Certifications:
