Job Summary

Responsible for promoting the use of industry and Company technology standards as it relates to CCS Workflow Engineering's use of ServiceNow. Monitors emerging technologies/technology practices for potential use within the team, focusing on our workflow platform ServiceNow. Designs and develops updated software schemas and workflows in support of one or more business processes under supervision. Helps to ensure a balance between tactical and strategic technology solutions. Considers business problems "end-to-end": including people, process and technology, both within and outside the enterprise, as part of any design solution. Has experience, knowledge, and skills in own discipline. Works with more senior architects and management to determine work priorities.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensures programs are envisioned, designed, developed, and implemented across CCS Workflow Engineering to meet business needs. Interfaces with the product team and other functional areas to ensure that most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs.

• Ensures solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable, and scalable to be delivered on schedule.

• Monitors current trends, technology and information that will positively affect organizational projects. Applies and integrates emerging technological trends to new and existing systems architecture.

• Assists in the development of solution architecture (both tactical and strategic) to fully manage/support enterprise needs, services, systems, and technology management.

• Assists in the planning and design of new or upgraded systems. Interacts with departments to implement improvements in process.

• Assists in design and implementation of problem-solving proof of concepts to meet the changing needs of our teams.

• Informs team members in relevant technologies and implementation architecture.

• Development of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and experience required and requested for this role:

• Minimum 3-5 years of direct or relatable experience of ServiceNow design and development, focused on customized creation.

• Strong JavaScript skills.

• Moderate SQL skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Hands-on architecture and development experience with ServiceNow. GRC and Security Operations application suites experience a plus.

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow web services integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, ODBJ/JDBC database connections in design, development, and troubleshooting.

• Configuration Item Database (CMDB) design and integration experience.

• Experience creating and maintaining ServiceNow Advanced reporting and Performance Analytics.

Python language a plus.
