Commerce Photo Production Manager

The Commerce Photo Production Manager will lead a team of photo producers that source, process, and upload a high volume of images for multiple Dotdash Meredith brands. Your team will work with retailer product images and original photography taken in our testing labs and photo studios. You should have a keen creative eye with good photo judgment.
About the Role:

• Manage a team of photo producers to keep the photo queue moving and troubleshoot issues when they arise
• Build relationships with both commerce and editorial teams to become an expert in each brand's photo styles and templates
• Maintain photo guidelines and sizing instructions for each brand
• Willing to jump in to source and process images when we have a backlog
• QAing team's images to make sure we are delivering photos according to brand specifications
• Manage photo workflow and stick to tight deadlines

About You:

• 3-5 years digital photo experience at a major publisher
• Experience using a CMS
• Experience managing a team
• Familiarity with content management systems and web publishing tools
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to formulate actionable strategies.
• A strong eye for detail and great attention to accuracy
• Bachelor's degree required
