Commerce Product Manager Intern

Yahoo seeks an Intern as an Associate Product Manager to partner with the seasoned product managers on our Commerce team to conceptualize, test, deliver, and optimize features that help users buy products featured in editorial content from our portfolio of brands, including Yahoo Lifestyle, Yahoo Sports, and Engadget. The role will involve cross-functional collaboration and coordination with editors, designers, developers, and analysts, with the goal of delivering business results.
The ideal candidate will have strong user empathy and "product sense" - intuition about what features are important to users and which ones are not. Knowledge of digital product validation and delivery best practices is also key. Although this is a non-technical role, the ability to successfully communicate with both technical and non-technical collaborators is critical.
Responsibilities:

• Support the development and launch of new products through cross-functional collaboration
• Assist with product documentation, including requirements documents and user stories
• Conduct market research to gather insights on customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends
• Contribute to product roadmap and feature prioritization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and best-practices in digital product validation and delivery.

The compensation for this position ranges from $45,760.00 - $135,200.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
