Job Description
We are looking for founding members for our new (and rapidly growing) Commercial Account Executive team. As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be responsible for helping customers to evaluate and purchase Tailscale as a solution to their company’s evolving networking, security, and compliance objectives. You will partner closely with the Solutions Engineering team, as well as collaborate with the Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Product teams.

Responsibilities and Duties:- Qualify inbound sales inquiries, then quickly close the customer or pass the customer to our Enterprise Sales team
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle from lead to close
- Provide feedback on campaigns to help move customers from free to paid
- Provide technical expertise in the form of sales presentations and demonstrations
- Manage and organize your pipeline and activities in Gong and Salesforce
- 1+ years of closing experience in a sales role
- Has sold developer and/or technical products, especially in a product-led growth (PLG) motion
- A strong desire to join a high-growth software startup in a fully remote role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage many activities and opportunities simultaneously at various stages
