Introduction
In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centres (Delivery Centres) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Your Role and Responsibilities
The role is for a Commercial Analyst to support the client Account Group and to provide financial and commercial management to parts of the client portfolio. Working for the Account Group taking direction from and providing support to the Lead Commercial Manager this is a great opportunity to be a critical partner to the Consulting business see the breadth of financial operations within IBM and have a direct impact on the financial performance of one of UK Consulting’s biggest Account GroupsTasks and responsibilities include:

  • Maintain complex pricing model and work with the business to create pricing models that can be used for executive release approvals;
  • Generate financial metric reports from IBM’s bespoke pricing tool and understand how to maximise financial performance;
  • Innovate pricing processes to ensure best practice across Account Groups;
  • Management and reporting of portfolio financials including adherence to complex contractual Ts and Cs;
  • Project forecasting and scenario analysis;
  • Profitability analysis and leadership of profit improvement initiatives;
  • Client Invoicing revenue and cost accruals;
  • Cash collection and debt management.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Project forecasting and tracking against actuals
  • Reporting to Delivery Managers on their squad financials
  • Creating calculations for client billing and completing invoicing through billing tool
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on commercial matters
