Job description

Position We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project coordination, and a functional understanding of construction budgeting and scheduling. This role requires excellent time management skills, the ability to comprehend specifications and drawings, and proficiency in construction management software. Responsibilities • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. • Coordinate with general contractors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and project progress. • Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, Clear Story, Building Connected, and other construction management software for project scheduling, documentation, and reporting. • Conduct thorough construction budgeting to prepare accurate bids and manage contracts effectively. • Oversee project operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. • Review project plans and specifications to effectively identify potential issues or discrepancies. • Implement project management best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity across multiple projects. • Maintain detailed records of project progress, including schedules, budgets, contracts, and change orders. Requirements • Minimum 5 years experience in commercial construction or equivalent (recent CM grad with internship experience acceptable); • Demonstrated proficiency in acquisition and successful execution of commercial construction projects; Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Working knowledge of software customarily used in the industry. • Ability to work productively with a range of personalities and job descriptions exhibiting good interpersonal skills. • Desire to produce exceptional work results and to advance within the company by embracing additional responsibilities.
