Commercial Counsel

We’re looking for a driven, humble and impactful attorney to join our small but mighty team as its first Commercial Counsel and help Iterative use its technology to benefit patients and create a higher worldwide standard of GI care. Through your passion, integrity and daily dedication, you will have a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families, on your team, and on the company as a whole.

What you’ll be doing:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial and partnership agreements to support the growth of the business and protect the interests of the company

• Drive excellence and efficiency by refining and improving contract flow processes in close partnership with crossfunctional stakeholders, including our sales and finance teams
• Update and improve contract templates through thoughtful analysis and sound business and legal judgment

• Drive the successful completion of multiple time-sensitive and impactful work streams
• Communicate effectively and persuasively across and outside of the organization
• Manage contractual relationships with vendors and other third parties

Required Skills/Qualities:

• You model excellence with humility, and do all that you can to help the broader team around you excel 
• You have 4+ years of role-relevant post-bar experience focused on commercial and partnership agreements in a fast-paced team environment  
• You are a team player who dives head first into accepting diverse and challenging assignments with excitement, rigor and tenacity
• You have high integrity and excellent judgment and you are highly organized and adept at managing time-sensitive work streams
• You welcome responsibility for and ownership of work product and high-impact projects
• You have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and are an active member in good standing with the Bar of Massachusetts, New York or California 
•  You love technology and its power to make the world a better place

Preferred:

• Experience with contracting in the life sciences and/or medical device sectors

• Experience with and knowledge of regulatory framework impacting health care, including HIPAA Privacy Rule, AKB, & Sunshine Act
• Ability to work during Eastern Time business hours

Applicant note: Iterative Health is running a 3 month return to office pilot for any employee within a 45 minute commute of our Cambridge, MA; Dallas, TX; or New York City offices. If you are hired for a role, and live within a 45 minute commute of one of those office locations, you will be asked to report to the office twice per week. Exceptions to this pilot will be made as necessary.
