Commercial Counsel

Beacon platform is looking for an experienced commercial counsel focusing on client, vendor,  and strategic partners contracts negotiations to join our growing Legal Team. The position will  report to the SVP of Strategy and Operations. Candidates in the NY Tristate area are preferred  but not required. 

Responsibilities 

• Partner with our Sales, Professional Services, Applications and Partnership teams on a  range of complex agreements 
• Engage with senior leaders on understanding the business requirements and advise on  negotiation strategy to ensure the business interests are protected and the needs are  met 
• Draft, review and negotiate licensing and technology-related agreements for our clients,  vendors, and strategic partners 
• Liaise with external counsel and other senior leaders within Beacon’s ecosystem
• In collaboration with other members of the Legal Team, maintain and improve legal  operational matters to serve business needs 
• Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with Beacon’s Compliance team

Requirements 

• A minimum of ten years of experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated contracts,  including SaaS agreements 
• At least five years of experience with complex technology and licensing agreements is a must 
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented, well organized, and with a high degree of ownership

Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000 (USD)
