Team: General

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Commercial Counsel - REMOTE. In this critical role, you will support contract negotiation and management while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Your expertise will be essential in navigating complex technology agreements, and your contributions will impact various stakeholders across the organization. Accountabilities

Serve as the legal point of contact for customer and vendor contracts.

Draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of complex technology agreements.

Advise on contract status and associated legal risks.

Review and negotiate various commercial agreements.

Contribute to the development and revision of standard form agreements.

Participate in contract administration policies and practices.

Support the company's privacy initiatives.

Advise executives on legal and compliance matters.

Provide legal support to internal stakeholders in diverse areas.

Research unique legal issues impacting the organization.

Conduct training on legal topics for personnel.

Manage outside counsel on legal matters as necessary.

Requirements

J.D. with excellent academic credentials.

Member in good standing of state bar association.

4-8 years of commercial transactional legal experience.

Proven expertise in structuring and negotiating complex software licenses.

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

Strong ability to balance legal risks with business needs.

Excellent judgment and strategic thinking skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

High integrity and strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with global privacy regulations such as CCPA and GDPR.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
