This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Commercial Counsel - REMOTE. As a pivotal member of the legal team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the legal landscape of commercial agreements and partnerships. Accountabilities

Counsel on the risks and opportunities of proposed commercial actions, translating complex legal considerations into practical, solution-oriented guidance.

Own all legal aspects of deal processes and engagements with customers, leveraging insights across Commercial Law, Product & Pricing Strategy, and Data Ownership.

Partner with go-to-market leaders and finance teams to negotiate enterprise-level customer agreements that enhance sales cycles and capacity.

Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams on innovation and operational delivery.

Contribute to an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives drive better outcomes and champion equitable interview experiences.

Requirements

J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state.

6+ years of legal experience, preferably with significant in-house experience focused on product law, data privacy, or technology law.

Background in technology, talent assessment platforms, or professional services/workforce solutions is strongly preferred.

Experience in improving and operationalizing legal processes in a high-growth environment with successful cross-functional collaboration.

Excellent business judgment with the ability to balance risk-reward, providing pragmatic advice while enabling business growth.

Interest in leveraging AI and defining legal frameworks for emerging technologies.
