Job Description:

The Commercial Credit Officer (CCO) is a highly skilled resource, providing expert level advisory guidance in the most complex, integrated debt capital solutions for commercial banking clients. Products include lines of credit, term loans, real estate loans, and syndicated loans. The CCO manages all of the ancillary credit exposure to clients. The CCO maintains knowledge of other Bank of America products including Investment Banking and Treasury Management that have credit exposure, and leverages product expertise to deliver the best possible and optimally integrated strategic solution for the client or prospective client. This role reports to the Credit Manager or Credit Executive and will be aligned to an Underwriting resources that supports the market. This role will specifically support companies located in the Greater Portland market, serving a broad range of clients with annual revenue ranging from $10 million to $2 billion+.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of solid commercial banking experience
  • Experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management specifically in Middle Market/Business Banking
  • Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring
  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally
  • Negotiation and Critical Thinking skills

Minimum Education Requirement: BS/BA Degree Desired
