GenScript ProBio is the subsidiary of GenScript Biotech Corporation, proactively providing end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. GenScript ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, GenScript ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. It is also the first GMP manufacturing platform to provide in vitro transcription (IVT) template linearized plasmids for mRNA vaccines and has supported several mRNA vaccine global enterprises to obtain clinical approvals. In terms of viral vector service, GenScript ProBio has a stable and high-yield viral vector platform.
Job Scope:
The Commercial Development Program (CDP) is a dynamic rotational program that offers highly motivated young professionals the opportunity of real work experiences in front-line Sales and Tech Support/Commercial Operation functions to accelerate their careers in the biotech industry. Our CDP enables participants to experience multiple rotation assignments over one year to provide a broad experience in different facets of biotech commercial operations while allowing for exposure to our core processes, technologies, and leaders. This program will position you for a long and successful career with GenScript where you’ll be inspired to innovate, collaborate and make a true impact in the biotech world.
The Opportunity:
The CDP is designed to offer an integrated approach to developmental assignments and formal training to help you establish the capabilities necessary to excel in our commercial department. This is a unique opportunity to grow valuable skills in a collaborative environment that will put you in direct contact with our essential commercial operations and business leaders.Our robust program will provide participants with well-structured trainings and real-work assignments designed as below:
Month 1-4 (Rotation #1):
- Centralized trainings: Comprehensive service offerings and scientific knowledge trainings
- Professional Account Management Trainings: master core ingredients of GenScript services and provide high-level scientific support to customers
Month 4-9 (Rotation #2):
- Centralized trainings: Commercial-oriented business skill trainings
- Professional Services Selling Trainings: transition into adept sales strategiest through effective customer relationship management and cross-selling techniques to support territory sales growth
Month 10-12 (Evaluation):
Upon completion of rotations, our CDP graduates have the opportunity to move into a Sales/Technical Account Manager role that is best aligned to individual skill sets, competencies, interests and business needs.
Location Information:
CDP program runs across the country and we are looking for people who may be based in a variety of different locations, including but not limited to Greater Boston area, MA; Bay area/Los Angeles/San Diego, CA; New York/New Jersey. Geographical flexibility is required during the program and upon completion of the program.
Qualifications:
- At least a Master’s degree (received between May 2022 and May 2024) in life sciences disciplines;
- 0-2 years of work, co-op, or internship experience – preferably in the biopharma environment
- Excellent learning agility – ability to digest information quickly, apply existing knowledge in new makes, make connections across different areas and identify key questions / areas to explore
- Superior interpersonal, oral, written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - ability to gather, evaluate and interpret data to identify issues or opportunities
- Ability to prioritize work effectively to meet timelines
- Leadership aptitude, including the ability to build strong partnerships - communicate, engage with and influence others effectively across a global matrix organization
- Strong critical and strategic thinking skills, with keen curiosity, aptitude for problem solving, and willingness to take risks and challenge the status quo
- Interested candidates should possess a strong desire to learn about the commercial side of the biotech business
- Geographically flexible and willingness to relocate to anywhere in the U.S based on business needs
