Commercial Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation tasks. • Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems. • Troubleshoot issues with logic controllers and other electrical components. • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all work performed. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure timely project completion. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. Experience • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role in a commercial setting. • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters. • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and electrical schematics. • Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work. • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
