Commercial HVAC Technician – Class A High-Rise (NYC)

We are seeking an experiencedCommercial HVAC Technicianto manage and maintain the HVAC systems of a26-story Class A commercial buildingin the heart of New York City. This is a critical, hands-on role for a skilled professional with deep experience in large-scale systems, rooftop units, and high-rise infrastructure. Responsibilities include: • Operating, maintaining, and repairing large rooftop AC systems and building-wide HVAC infrastructure • Diagnosing and responding to system malfunctions and service calls • Conducting routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system optimization • Collaborating with building management, vendors, and engineering staff to ensure peak performance • Maintaining logs, reporting issues, and ensuring all systems comply with local codes and safety standards Qualifications: • Minimum7 years of commercial HVAC experience, including high-rise buildings (20+ stories) • Proven expertise withrooftop AC units, chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, and BAS controls • EPA Universal Certification (required) • FDNY Refrigeration Machine Operator license (preferred) • Strong understanding of NYC mechanical codes and energy regulations • Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies when needed What We Offer: • Competitive pay and benefits • Full-time, stable employment in a premier Class A building • Convenient location near Penn Station – easily accessible by all major transit • Opportunity to work in a professional, well-supported building operations team Apply nowif you have the qualifications and experience to help us keep this landmark building running smoothly, efficiently, and comfortably.
