Commercial HVAC Technician

Commercial HVAC Technician Our client is a provider of commercial services (HVAC, Boiler Plant, Building Automation, etc.) specializing in critical environments. We are assisting our client in recruiting a full-time HVAC Technician and the office is located in West Chester, PA. The HVAC Technician position is responsible for a variety of operational functions servicing and repairing HVAC equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES for the HVAC Technician: *Work with a Senior Tech to provide commercial HVAC experience to service and repair: o Packaged RTU’s o Boilers o Pumps o VAV’s and water sourced heat pumps o Cooling Towers o Chillers o Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) Equipment *Diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC equipment. *Clean coils, charge filters, change/tighten belts and change fuses. *Communicate clearly with customers and team members. *Maintain clean work areas and organized service vehicles. *Adhere to safety protocols and company policies. REQUIREMENTS for the HVAC Technician: *At least 2-4 years of commercial HVAC experience. *Familiarity with cooling towers, chillers and CRAC’s is preferred. *Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to pay close attention to details, while working well with others. *Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as every service call must be written up. *Degree or certificate from a trade school. A 4-year apprenticeship is available. *Universal EPA certification. *Valid driver’s license. *After a 90-day probationary period, a truck, tools, computer and phone will be provided.
