Commercial HVAC Technician

Commercial HVAC Service Technician Thermaster Mechanical is seeking experienced HVAC techniciansto join our team of professionals. Our work is primarily made up of service calls, preventative maintenance and occasional projects, for industrial and commercial clients at shipping, distribution and manufacturing facilities. Technicians are provided witha clean mid-roof Ford Transit van (you can stand in it!) to take home, company credit card, Windows tablet, smart phone (if desired), company shirts. Our ideal candidatefor this position has 3+ years of HVAC service experience and can effectively troubleshoot various types of equipment. An ideal candidate always works towards a quality product or result to resolve issues and provide long-term solutions. Candidate must be physically fit and able to carry or lift tools & equipment up to 50 lbs., able to climb ladders to access equipment, be willing to sometimes work in tight and/or dirty environments, be comfortable working around high voltages. Technicians are required to document preventative maintenance performed and fill out service tickets promptly. Equipment serviced includesRTU's (typically 3-20 tons), MUA's (primarily Rapid Engineering units, some Cambridge, Titan & Rupps), fans (from small bathroom exhaust to larger warehouse EF or supply fans), ice machines (Manitowoc & Icetro units), conventional split systems, ductless split systems, unit heaters, some Carrier i-Vu controls, infrared heaters, wall AC units, ceiling or wall-mount electric heaters, electronic enclosure AC units, air compressors & air driers. The company has multiple scissor lifts that are regularly used, with drop-deck trailers to tow them.
