Commercial IT Documentation Trainee

The Commercial IT Documentation Trainee will support the International Solution Delivery Analytics Team by ensuring accurate, structured and up-to-date documentation of data flows, KPIs, security protocols and dashboards. This role is essential to keeping the team’s processes transparent and accessible, helping stakeholders easily access important information regarding our data sources and analytics tools.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Document all relevant aspects of the team’s data flows, datasets, KPI definitions, security protocols and dashboards.

• Learn and work with Confluence and Draw.io to create and maintain comprehensive documentation that is clear, accessible and well-structured.

• Ensure that all documentation is accurate and kept up to date in alignment with any changes to systems or processes.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as dashboard developers, solution delivery team members and IT partners to gather input and ensure documentation is complete and reflective of current practices.

• Support the team in identifying areas where improved documentation could enhance transparency and efficiency

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Completed Bachelor´s degree and currently studying a postgraduate or master´s degree in IT, data analytics, business or another related quantitative field. You must be able to sign an internship agreement (convenio).

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

• High learning agility. Willing to learn about coding, data transformation…

• Self-motivation

• Data analytics skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain clear, structured documentation.

HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:

• 6-month project duration, starting in February 2025.

• Part-time position. Flexible morning schedule from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (approximately).

• Open-space offices located in the World Trade Center in Cornellà.

• Monthly student stipend of €425 gross.
