Commercial Journeyman Electrician

We are a fast-growing electrical contractor that is currently seeking experienced Foreman with commercial installation background. Must have reliable transportation and be flexible to work on one or multiple jobsites as the need arises. We pride ourselves on our relationships with our customers, and we are looking for people that can and want to perform at a higher level that inspires others to do so as well. License/ Experience: • Must have a current, valid Journeyman Certification • Valid CA driver's license Requirements: We are seeking individuals that can show technical competence; the ability to follow and understand detailed instructions, read blueprints, flowcharts, schematics, and engineering documents. You must have the knowledge to conduct daily toolbox meetings to assess workflow needs to meet the schedule and plan material orders accordingly, as well as being organized to know what is taking place on your jobsite. You must be familiar with safety protocols on the jobsite and be able to assess, correct and manage the site to meet safety requirements. OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred. Excellent communication skills with teammates, customers and vendors and the ability to work with all levels of management in a clear, concise, and professional demeanor. · Understanding of the control and repair of circuits and motors. · Ability to lift 40+pounds, climb ladders, operate vehicles/ machinery safely. · Sharp troubleshooting skills. · Expertise using common hand tools, meters, gauges, and other associated test and measurement equipment, as well as the ability to measure current, voltage and amperage · Comfortable working alone or as part of a team. · Reliable, on-time behavior and consistent attendance is mandatory. The flexibility to work at night as well as on weekends/holidays if the schedule requires it. · Although most of our work is commercial, we will, at times, perform residential work as well, so some residential work experience is preferred.
