Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of working independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The Journeyperson Plumber will ensure that all work complies with local codes and regulations while delivering high-quality service to our clients. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. • Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications. • Weld and assemble various plumbing components as required. • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation and repair tasks. • Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality. • Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues. • Build custom plumbing solutions based on client needs and project specifications. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all job sites. • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties. Skills • Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints related to plumbing systems. • Strong welding skills for assembling piping systems. • Experience using power tools and hand tools specific to plumbing tasks. • Ability to build custom solutions tailored to specific project requirements. • Valid commercial driving license is preferred for transporting materials between job sites. • Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
