Commercial Lines Bond Client Representative

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Client Manager with producers in the evaluation of bond needs for the clients.
• Submitting bond request to underwriters in a timely efficient manner per Client Manager.
• Prepare invoices in a timely manner.
• Prepare various reports, exhibits and spreadsheets.
• Issue renewal continuation certificates.
• Maintain thorough documentation through the use and maintenance of good transactional filing notes.
• Maintain and monitor follow up on items requested of clients and carriers (e.g. financial statements, court documents, cancellations, etc.).
• Assist with preparing proposals and presentations from direction of Client Manager
• Input new client data.
• Assist clients with bond applications.
• Issue contract, commercial and other miscellaneous bonds in various bond systems, including carriers and agency provided systems.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of full-time work experience, or at least a two year college degree.
• Basic computer/data entry skills (agency management, word processing and spreadsheets software experience preferred).
• Good interpersonal skills, customer focus.
• The ability to do detailed work effectively and efficiently.
• The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
