Position Details:

Provide clerical and administrative support to the Commercial Lines Department, this will include emailing leads and inputting them into the agency database. Communication with external prospects, leads, or clients will vary based on individual goals and many options for continued growth and expansion within the department. Assist in quoting, binding and client servicing as well as heavily focusing on carrier and client communication. A day in this position is fast-paced and will usually involve dealing with multiple sizes of accounts and cases ranging from smaller bops all the way up to large municipal cases, and everything in between. Full suite expertise in Commercial lines is not something that is expected from the role but one must be able to adapt and overcome new and more engaging aspects of the industry, that one may not be familiar with. This position is electric and the firm has been fortunate to cultivate a large array of clientele and specialties. If an individual stain in this position they will truly build mastery in every aspect of the Commercial Property and Casualty Industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide and assist with general clerical and administrative support to staff including handling email generation, researching, and gathering information
• Completing Certificates of Insurance, Endorsement forms, and other duties as assigned
• Entering clients/prospects into the agency database
• Expanding personal knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and joint work with fellow team members
• Carrier Relation Manager as well as Renewal Management 

Must Have

• Property & Casualty General Lines License (Preferred, not required) 
• 2 years or more experience in Commercial Insurance Experience
• Cell Phone

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience in customer service, insurance industry preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, positive personality
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of AMS 360 or Vertafore preferred
