THE CHALLENGE
Eventbrite is a people-first organization. Our goal of building the global platform for live experience relies on the foundation of top talent and strong company culture. The Commercial Team is responsible for retaining and growing our fast-growing customer base consisting of SMB to mid-market returning customers as well as self sign-on event creators. The Commercial Team’s main focus is to retain best-fit customers through contract renewals identify upsell opportunities and maximize value from a book of customer opportunities.
THE TEAM
The Commercial Team operates at high velocity outreach within specific retention-based deal life cycles. This team is responsible for understanding event creator’s business trends in order to identify opportunities for mutual growth.
THE ROLE
As the Commercial Manager you are responsible for focusing on retention and growth of our Mid-Market / Large Account customers
YOU WILL
-
Manage a sales funnel of renewal and new contract opportunities for your target customer segments and accurately forecast on a monthly and quarterly basis

Work cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities resolution strategies and ultimately structure contract agreements that drive long-term value to both the organizer and the company.

Proactively drive longer term contracts to minimize future revenue risk

Identify upsell opportunities within the existing account base - prioritizing high value accounts.

Identify new business opportunities through referrals to regularly deliver leads to the acquisition team

Continuously deliver feedback to leadership teams and participate in process improvements and optimization of existing procedures

Responsible for feeding back to the business on competitive threat
THE SKILL SET
-
3+ years experience in a Sales or Customer Success/Account Management role with a focus on contract negotiation
-
Demonstrated experience managing customer renewals and upsells with a SaaS product to attain predetermined goals and quotas

Proven ability to manage large opportunity and upsell pipelines

Strong organization skills and superb capabilities with managing a large volume of tasks responsibilities and deadlines

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) meticulous attention to detail and a resourceful problem-solving attitude

Experience using CRM software (Salesforce) Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel) and Google Applications (Analytics Docs Sheets Slides)
