Commercial Operations Associate

We are seeking a traffic team member as part of our Customer Operations and broader Business Development team. This position offers the opportunity to be in a frontline operations role within our battery recycling and battery materials business, working primarily with outbound operations.

Responsibilities Include

• Work cross-functionally with sales, product management, and logistics team on shipping material to customers, organizing release of material from the manufacturing site.
• Issue documents to customers based on terms of contract such as invoices, certificate of analysis, or other required information.
• Work within business development team to execute contracts. Understand how to interpret a contract for payment terms, Incoterms, minimum volumes, etc.
• Interface with accounting on account reconciliations and revenue tracking.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree.
• Experience in sales operations, business planning or logistics is preferred.
• Commodity, Battery Metals (mining or recycled), or Battery Materials industry experience is helpful.
• Smart, scrappy, entrepreneurial – having a bias for action and a lot of grit.
• Our business is “dynamic,” meaning our market and we can change quickly. You’ll need to be comfortable in a startup environment. Think independent, motivated, self-starter.
• Strong analytical skills are required.
