For over 50 years, Cabinetry Unlimited has been the leading experts in custom cabinetry and counter tops throughout the Delmarva region. With over 1,000 projects completed yearly, we know that customizing a kitchen and bathroom is no simple task!

 

Cabinetry Unlimited, in Selbyville, is seeking a full-time Commercial Project Manager with experience in the casework industry who is highly organized and detail-oriented to join our team. The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for taking ownership of a project from start to completion. They will be coordinating all aspects of the project, working closely with client jobsite supervisors, and ensuring seamless communication between the field and internal teams.

  • Review customer installation package and ensure product suitability.
  • Schedule and conduct field verifications and site measures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate installation dates, and manage timelines for multiple projects concurrently.
  • Communicate project updates, changes, and issues to relevant teams.
  • Oversee project layout for plumbing, electrical, and framing dimensions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the showroom, client’s jobsite supervisors, and internal teams, ensuring all project requirements are met and verify any changes prior to installation.
  • Sign off on work orders, submit new material requests, and manage work logs.
  • Collaborate with scheduling to secure subcontractors and monitor installation progress.
  • Inspect installations, complete minor repairs, and generate punch lists.
  • Ensure project completion by addressing punch list items and finalizing inspections.
  • Communicate regularly with client representatives on job sites to ensure alignment on project goals, installation processes, and timelines.
  • Work closely with the sales, design, and installation teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials, resolution of project issues, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and work with both internal teams and client representatives to develop and implement solutions.

What you bring to the role:

  • Minimum of 4 years previous construction experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience preferably in commercial construction, kitchen remodeling or related fields
  • Extensive knowledge of cabinetry
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer management, communication abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
