Commercial Superintendent/ Electrical Foreman 5 YRS EXP REQ

• DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE FIRST 3 REQUIREMENTS • Must have current California Electrical Journeyman’s Certificate • Minimum 5+ years of supervisory and project management experience. • Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams. • Inspect electrical components including transformers, panels and circuit breakers. • Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems. • Install and bend EMT/Rigid conduit, use hand and power tools, reading blue prints and able to reference code • Install lighting, lighting controls, panels, switchgear, generator and ATS. • LED retrofitting existing lighting. • Electrical troubleshoot & repairs. • Strong knowledge of switchgears, trouble shooting of motor controls, drives and electronic components. • Inspect equipment and repair and replace as necessary to avoid downtime. • Install new equipment at commercial and industrial locations. Maintain, trouble shoot, repair and install electrical equipment utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. • Operate, diagnose, analyze and repair industrial equipment such as boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, air dryers, pumps, chillers, air handling units, electric doors, overhead cranes and exhaust ventilation system. • Perform daily general maintenance duties such as preventive maintenance, Conduct safety meetings with the workers and attend to trouble calls and emergency maintenance as needed and assigned. • Use complex electrical schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot and correct problems. • Manage a staff of 5-10 workers • Mentor and teach Apprentices Job Requirements: • Preference to prior experience working on state public works projects • OSHA 30 Safety Standards certification required (can be obtained after hire). • Knowledge using Electric and hand tools, electrical meter and testing equipment. • Experience in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC. • Strong inter-personal skills along with the ability to interact with all levels of management. • Provide excellent communication skills written and verbal. • Must have own basic ordinary tools and drill bits and automobile Job Type: Full time Per Contract Pay: $43-45 per hour Work Location: Los Angeles Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Job Type: Full-time Pay: $43.00 - $48.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 35 per week Benefits: • Tuition reimbursement Experience: • Supervising: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: • Journeyman License (Required) Security clearance: • Confidential (Required) Work Location: In person
