Commercial/Outside Sales Representative
Job Description
The Commercial Sales Representative will be in charge of developing new business, penetrating existing accounts, and minimizing lost business to achieve profitable sales growth of accounts. The customer base will be primarily plumbers and mechanical contractors doing business in the residential and commercial market. Building strong customer relationships and selling via a “value proposition” and “service differentiation” will allow for maximum growth and profit. Effectively working with the Director of Sales and Plumbing Trade Inside Sales Team is critical to ensure superior customer service from inquiry through delivery.
Job Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent, college degree in business related field preferred
- 3 years of successful experience in outside sales in the Cincinnati market
- 2 years of experience in sales to residential and commercial plumbers and contractors preferred
- Excellence in developing strong customer relationships and loyalty
- Self-motivation with the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills
