Commission Specialist

Grow your career as a Commissions Specialist within ALG Vacations, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role you will be responsible for accurate and timely posting of commission payments to travel agents based on contracted calculations. They will process weekly payments and respond timely to travel agent inquiries.

A successful Commissions Specialist will:

• Process, audit, and reconcile of travel agent commissions
• Resolve commission disputes using corporate resources and extend resolution communication to travel agent partners.
• Process timely recoupments on commissions resulting from cancellations or modifications
• Audit and mail commission checks
• Assist in enrollment of ACH payment process and banking changes
• Respond to travel agent inquiries related to 1099 process

A successful a Commissions Specialist will have:

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Accounts payable and/or travel experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Complex problem-solving skills and use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, and an approach to issues. T
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
