Our Commissions and Sales Operations Team Lead will be an integral part of our Global Go To Market Operations team. This role is based remotely in the United States, ideally in the Eastern or Central time zones.

The Opportunity
You will lead a team of business operations specialists in support of our GTM operations, with a focus on the end to end sales commissions process. Other team responsibilities will include related upstream commissions functions including contract auditing, tracking bookings, and maintaining operation alignment with partners. You will be responsible for overseeing commissions plan creation and reviews, creating new processes, and making changes to existing processes to support growth and bring efficiency. You are a hands-on leader, who digs in with their teams to understand in detail the various processes for which they have responsibility. 
 
Responsibilities
  • You will own the entire sales and partner commission process in conjunction with a commissions analyst. This includes creating and distributing plans, implementing commission processes, maintaining commissions tooling, processing commissions and auditing commissions for accuracy. 
  • You will manage multiple assignments and requests/processes concurrently, some on a recurring schedule, and will prioritize accordingly to deliver timely results.
  • Work with other leaders in Sales, Business Development, Human Resources, and Finance to develop and enhance compensation plans to support the growth of the business. 
  • Oversee contract management functions, including ensuring accurate contract creation and recording. 
  • Oversee policies and processes that govern the booking and credits of sales orders
  • Oversee processes in support of our key partner relationships, specifically AWS and Google
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience leading sales operations or related functions
  • Experience with commissions planning, comp plan design, and commissions processing is required
  • Experience of using CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred), commissions tools (Xactly) and other sales supporting systems
  • Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate problems and roadblocks as needed.
  • Strong communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams, operations specialists, collaborating departments and other leaders
  • Analytical, Data-driven, detail-oriented and able to “zoom” in/out from the big picture to the minutiae.
  • Strong fluency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets) to review and evaluate large amounts of data
  • Self-organized, Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • A great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at work
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
